A year after the introduction of the all-electric MG ZS EV, MG launched the petrol version of the MG ZS at a lower price than its electric car.
Since its launch, the petrol-powered MG ZS has been very successful and remains available from €13,990, despite the increase in car prices. This offer includes all discounts offered by MG.
Two finishes and two engines
The MG ZS is an inexpensive car that is available in two versions: an electric version and a petrol version. The electric model can be purchased from 30,480 euros with discounts, making it an affordable option for those looking for an eco-friendly car. The gasoline version, meanwhile, is on sale from 13,990 euros with discounts.
Although the MG ZS is neither the most powerful nor the cheapest car in its class, it is reliable and spacious, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds, a maximum speed of 175 km/ h and an average consumption of 6.6 l/100 km. Moreover, it has a trunk of 448 liters, which is larger than most compact cars.
The Comfort finish of the MG ZS is simple but correct, with a central 10.1" touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as rear parking aids. With this finish, the starting price is 17,190 euros, but it is possible to benefit from brand promotions to reduce the cost.
At the moment, MG is offering a fundraising campaign for the MG ZS which reduces the cost of the car by 3,200 euros. Thus, the car can be purchased from 13,990 euros. For an additional cost from 16,190 euros, the Luxury finish adds features such as a 360-degree camera, a navigator or a digital box.
If you are looking for an alternative to the petrol MG ZS , the Dacia Duster is an option worth considering. It is available from 18,948 euros with a basic finish, a 1.0-litre 100 HP ECO-G turbo engine and a six-speed manual gearbox. It is 4.34 meters long and has a trunk of 445 liters. However, it should be noted that the Dacia Duster is more expensive than the MG ZS and its features may be less advanced.
In summary, the MG ZS is an inexpensive car that offers an eco-friendly option in the electric version and an economical option in the petrol version. Although not the most powerful car in its class, it is reliable, spacious and equipped with basic features such as a 10.1" central touchscreen and rear parking aids.
