More wood! The BMW M3 Touring, even more brutal with the M Performance accessories that accompany its 510 HP

In this year of its  50th anniversary, BMW M  pleases us  with many gifts . And one of the most reviewed is the  BMW M3 Touring  , which has been demanded by fans of the model and the brand for some time. Unsurprisingly, it's the first M3 with a fastback aftertaste ever.

And now BMW announces that it will have a good catalog of  specific BMW M Performance accessories  . Many are aesthetic, but there are also some technical toppings on the menu.

BMW M  has prepared excellent seasonings for the  BMW M3 Touring  . For example, its exterior aesthetics can be more aggressive thanks to several  carbon fiber components  , more precisely in the recurring CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic).

This is the case for the front lip, the front air intake fins, the exterior mirror housings, the rear diffuser or even the spoiler that crowns your roof.

In addition, it can be adorned with vinyl in the BMW M war colors and the set is rounded off with  M Performance wheels  . Although they maintain the series measurements, 19 inches front and 20 inches rear, they offer a differential design with Y-spokes or crossed spokes and can be finished in matt Jet Black or Frozen Gold Bronze.

But in addition, the BMW M3 Touring can be accompanied by more sporty technical elements: this is the case of  the M Performance exhaust system  , with  four outlets  which are placed in the center.

BMW M claims these four titanium pipes improve the roar of the M TwinPower Turbo, but on top of that, the  muffler is 30 percent lighter  than stock, which also saves overall weight. The M3 Touring, standard, for the balance at 1,940 kg.

And in the unseen section, a  height-adjustable M Performance suspension  will also be available: BMW says that when set to its position closest to the ground, it will allow cornering at higher speeds. . In the menu we also find M Performance carbon-ceramic brakes.

Finally, for the interior, BMW M has prepared  even sportier bucket seats  , reinforced with carbon fiber elements and upholstered in Alcantara and perforated leather.

The icing on the cake is the center armrest in Alcantara with integrated aluminum M Performance badge and stitching in M ​​colours, matt open-pore carbon fiber trim or LED spotlights that show the M Performance logo on the inside. opening doors and the selectable 50 Years BMW M' motif.

All these options offered by BMW M go very well with the references of this brutal member of the family. Under the hood hides a  3.0-liter TwinTurbo developing 510 hp and 650 Nm  , which is managed by the eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox.

This automatic transmission transmits power to both axles or only to the rear, since the xDrive traction can be disconnected. Advantages? It does 0-100 in 3.6 seconds and can top out at 280 km/h with the M Driver's Package.
