The grossest Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series comes from RENNtech, which takes that beast of a peep to 1,081bhp

The  Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series  mounts the most powerful V8 ever designed by the Affalterbach firm, but thinking of the mavericks who do not consider it sufficient, the specialist RENNtech has prepared the perfect drug.

This North American tuner specializing in star models has gotten his hands  on this 730 hp brown beast  to  bring it to almost 1,100 hp  . Additionally, they also slightly adjusted his suit to make it look more aggressive.

 

0-96 km/h in under 3.0 seconds and 1,127 Nm of torque

RENNtech  takes the  4.0-litre twin-  turbo with 730 hp and 800 Nm from the AMG GT Black Series, and seasons it with an electronic unit, as well as two larger turbos, a new crankshaft, an exhaust valve adapter or improved air filters. They also optimize the clutch or gearing to deal with the power injection.

With these ingredients it rises to 855 hp and 1,002 Nm, or up  to 1,081 hp and 1,127 Nm  if you opt for the  American house's R3 ECU  , to make it an even more brutal Black Series capable of reach up to 7,200 rpm compared to the 6,700 rpm of the production model. Perhaps the most beastly, in fact.

Thanks to these settings, it signs the  0-96 km / h in less than 3.0 seconds  (the series we do the 0-100 in 3.2 seconds) and the peak goes from 325 km / h to  352 km / h  . Considering the increased delivery, that seems almost so little, even though it has to move 1,615kg, if not more with the additions.

Likewise, RENNtech accompanies these mechanical adjustments with aesthetic details. Like the new  RENNtech Track Series forged aluminum wheels  , specially designed for the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, or a more prominent carbon fiber lip.

For the cockpit they also offer a new anti-roll bar or Sabelt or Schroth harnesses.

The preparer does not announce the price of these dressings, but confirms that it is already available in the distributors with which it works both in the USA and in Europe and the Middle East.

Anyway, we must add the donor Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, which in Europe was marketed for 369,000 euros excluding taxes. Of course, shortly after reaching our market, the planned units already had an owner, so here only those lucky ones will be able to add salt and pepper to their pet peeve.
