The two SEAT bestsellers update their range with more equipment and here are their prices

The two best-selling SEAT cars in Spain  update their family in our market, including new standard equipment packs. We are talking about the SEAT Arona urban SUV   and the  SEAT Ibiza , which now have more advantages in terms  of safety technology, connectivity and comfort .

Although that means its price is a bit higher: the  SEAT Arona  now starts at  21,530 euros  in the base Reference XM trim (before the dry Reference  did the same at 21,000 euros ) and the  SEAT Ibiza  starts at  17,040 euros  compared to the previous 16,620).

For the rest, no change in the mechanical range: these two bestsellers are offered only with petrol engines, i.e. 95 hp, 110 hp and 150 hp in the case of the Arona and 80 hp, 110 hp and 150 hp in Ibiza.

Both feature an  ECO-labeled 90hp TGI natural gas variant, and these mechanicals can be mated to manual or automatic DSG dual-clutch gearboxes.

What do they now equip as standard?

Although the finishes are the same as those already known : Reference, Style, X-Perience and FR for the  SEAT Arona, and Reference, Style and FR for the  SEAT Ibiza,  the Spanish brand adds several packs to these finishes depending on the variant, whether XM, XL, XS or XXL.

Thus, from now on from the  Reference XM finish, which is the basis for both urban and utility SUVs, we find the  eight-inch Digital Cockpit instrumentation as standard, associated with the 8.25-inch multimedia screen.

The multimedia system is the Radio Media System which includes DAB digital radio or USB-C ports. But it also mounts, for example, electrically adjustable mirrors or LED headlights, among the highlights.

Also at no extra cost, it equips assistants such as automatic emergency braking (Front Assist), the involuntary lane departure assistant (Lane Assist) as well as the tire pressure sensor or the fatigue detector.

And already from the  Style XM finish, also in both models, Full LED front and rear headlights,  Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Full Link connection (Android Auto and Apple Car Play), two-way air conditioning zones, lights and automatic windshield wipers are added or fog lights with cornering function. And in the case of the Arona, it also adds the XDS electronic differential.

In the Arona, starting from the  Style XM finish, we already find the largest digital instrumentation and infotainment screen (10.25 inches and 9.2 inches respectively) or wireless charging for mobile devices.

For its part, the top of the range of the SEAT Arona are the X-Perience or the sporty cut FR. For example, the  X-Perience XM  integrates the  automatic parking assistant  or the rear camera as standard.

And in the  FR XL,  which is the most expensive and still has distinctive sporty exterior and interior elements, advantages are added such as traffic jam assistant, high beam assistant (high/low) or  suspension Dual Ride  which varies the hardness of this.

Prices for Spain of the SEAT Arona and SEAT Ibiza

The  SEAT Arona  starts at 21,530 euros in the Reference XM finish and with the 95 hp TSI engine, but with the brand discount and financing it can stay at  16,690 euros.

For its part, the  SEAT Ibiza  starts at 17,040 euros, but under the same conditions starts at  13,990 euros.

All Aronas are exempt from registration tax for emissions, except those with DSG automatic gearbox and access. For its part, in Ibiza, only those with automatic transmission must pay this tax.
