Audi is one of the brands that today continues to bet on hatchback bodies, examples such as the new A3 in its most radical variant under the family name RS3 , being a clear example. However, there are some for whom 400 horsepower is not enough and ABT Sportsline is very clear about this, so much so that it has already done its thing and the result is called ABT RS3-R .

The German preparer, neither late nor lazy, got down to his latest preparation which stands out for its exclusivity since only 200 units will be modified.

The ABT RS3-R's greatest charm is undoubtedly the power, which now surprises with a glorious 500 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque , coming from the 2.5-liter TFSI five-cylinder, which is now thanks to a series of adjustments and modifications, is brought to this power.

ECU remapping and an ABT-made intercooler , among other components, mean this mighty hot hatch hits 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds , surpassing the 3.8 it scored without modifications. . Another aspect that has also benefited is its top speed, which now reaches no more and no less than 300 km/h .

Along with the above, to make this Audi RS3 on steroids move like a rocket, ABT made some chassis tweaks, adjustable suspension for firmness, rebound and compression, new springs, lower ground clearance and sporty stabilizer bars.

Of course, the aesthetic section could not be left out as is customary in ABT Sportsline, which includes a kit of body parts that together give a much more aggressive appearance, a huge rear diffuser and others carbon fiber parts , as well as a quad exhaust. To top it all off, a set of 20-inch ABT High Performance HR forged wheels , mounted on Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport R tires.

The interior of course also receives some modifications, less substantial but no less relevant. Some emblems and inscriptions alluding to the version , as well as details contrasting with the body color.

For the moment the German preparer has not revealed the price that this spectacular modification will have, but the fact is that as usual it will not be accessible at all.
