Audi is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its subsidiary "Audi Sport GmbH", formerly known as "quattro GmbH" in 1983. To mark this special occasion, Audi Sport is unveiling an extremely limited edition of its flagship, the RS e-tron GT , a powerful electric vehicle sedan developing 440 kW.

The Ice Race Special Edition Inspired by the GP Ice Race

To celebrate this anniversary, Audi Sport presents the “Ice Race” edition in homage to the GP Ice Race, an Austrian ice competition born in 1952 and relaunched in 2019. This limited edition, produced in only 99 units, is inspired by the frame mountainous of this unique race. It highlights Audi’s customization expertise through its exclusive division, Audi exclusive.

Unique Design Inspired by Ice and Mountains

For this limited series, the base color chosen by Audi Sport is floret silver metallic. The entire body is wrapped in an aluminum covering film, embellished with white and transparent covering effects, evoking snow crystals. Purple elements, such as the mask around the grille and under the headlights, provide a striking contrast, evoking mirrored ski goggles. The 21-inch rims are black, while the roof is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

Refined Interior in Accordance with the Exterior Aesthetics

Inside, the leather seats adopt a black base, accented with silver accents (mentioned by Audi but not shown). Stitching to match the purple exterior adds a touch of elegance. The steering wheel combines leather and alcantara and features a silver midi marker. The MMI screen sports a specific wallpaper where the vehicle's unique serial number is also displayed. In mountain mode, the ambient lighting turns purple, adding a distinctive ambience to the interior of the RS e-tron GT.

Powerful and efficient electric motor

The RS e-tron GT is powered by an electric motor with an impressive output of 440 kW. This all-electric powertrain offers exceptional performance, demonstrating the ability of electric vehicles to compete with their thermal engine counterparts.

Lithium-ion Battery Technology and Fast Charging

The RS e-tron GT is equipped with a lithium-ion battery offering kWh storage capacity to power its electric motor. Lithium-ion technology allows for rapid charging, making long journeys easier without compromising vehicle performance.
