Audi announced a few days ago its future production plans, among which it stands out to only launch electric cars from 2026 and stop manufacturing combustion cars from 2033. Among its news is also that of manufacturing electric cars in all its factories in the world, that of Mexico, among them.

According to Audi's plan, between 2023 and 2029 all the plants that the brand has will manufacture at least one electric car. So far only those of Böllinger Hoffe (Germany) and Brussels (Belgium) are the ones that manufacture this type of car, next year that of Ingolstadt in Germany will be added.

Then the Neckarsulm (Germany), San José Chiapa (Puebla, Mexico) and Győr (Hungary) plants will have to be added. To achieve all this, Audi will also invest at least €500 million in training its workers in all the plants involved, as well as in the construction and adaptation of new lines.
