Electric project AIM Sport EV 01: A possible manufacture in England

AIM-EV-Sport-01-1

Designer Shiro Nakamura imagines an electric sports coupe

Shiro Nakamura, famous for being the father of the Nissan GT-R and now retired, has designed an attractive electric sports coupe called the AIM EV Sport 01. This project could soon see the light of day in England thanks to ongoing discussions with UK and European manufacturers interested in making electric vehicles, including Ford, Mercedes, Aston-Martin and Ferrari, as well as other automotive players.

Ongoing discussions with UK and European companies

During an interview with Autocar, the designer hinted that talks had been started with various companies in the automotive sector, some based in the United Kingdom and others within the European Union, such as Ford and Mercedes, who are interested in the project. These discussions aim to find production opportunities for the AIM EV Sport 01, a rechargeable electric vehicle that breathes the spirit of English coupes better than anyone else.

A light and agile electric sports coupe

Shiro Nakamura took advantage of his presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to attract manufacturers interested in the manufacture of this electric sports coupe. He stressed the importance of customization, given the lack of branding associated with the project. The aim is to create a narrow, compact and agile car, reflecting the spirit of English coupés. Electric vehicles, in particular all-electric, plug-in and plug-in hybrid models, offer new possibilities in terms of motorization, distancing the AIM EV Sport 01 from traditional internal combustion cars equipped with diesel internal combustion engines, and thus reducing emissions of CO2 and other pollutants.

Performance comparable to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS

The AIM Sport EV 01 is said to weigh just 1,425 kg, achieving a weight-to-power ratio similar to that of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. With nearly 490 hp and 790 Nm of combined torque from its two Lithium-ion electric motors, this electric sports car promises remarkable performance in terms of braking and acceleration. Motorway journeys will be facilitated by fast charging thanks to charging stations specially designed for electric and plug-in hybrid cars, making it possible to optimize the use of kWh and thus contributing to a cleaner electricity network.

Ecological bonus and purchase of electric or hybrid vehicles

The AIM EV Sport 01 could benefit from an ecological bonus in certain regions, which could encourage buyers to opt for this electric sports car. Indeed, the purchase of an electric or hybrid vehicle, in particular the all-electric, plug-in and rechargeable hybrid models with range extender, makes it possible to considerably reduce CO2 emissions and other pollutants compared to thermal cars. . In addition, the use of household sockets for home charging helps to facilitate the transition to zero-emission vehicles, thus reducing the impact of these vehicle models on the environment.

Towards hybrid and electric mobility

In sum, the AIM Sport EV 01 project represents a promising initiative for the future of electric and hybrid vehicles, with the possibility of manufacturing in the UK in collaboration with renowned car manufacturers such as Ford, Mercedes, Aston-Martin and Ferrari, paving the way for electric and hybrid cars that are lightweight, high-performance, equipped with advanced technologies and respectful of the environment. These clean, all-electric, plug-in and rechargeable hybrid vehicles will be models of ecological vehicles, thus contributing to the promotion of green cars in the automotive sector.

In this cleaner mobility approach, batteries and electric motors play a central role in providing a clean and efficient source of energy. Hybrid vehicles, whether equipped with hydrogen fuel cells or gasoline engines associated with hybridization, benefit from an all-electric mode and can be recharged using charging stations and household sockets. Ademe and other organizations also encourage the purchase of electric or hybrid vehicles, such as the Nissan Leaf or plug-in hybrid cars, because they help reduce CO2 emissions and pollutants, and thus participate in the transition to cleaner and more sustainable mobility. The market for electric and hybrid cars is growing rapidly, with new hybrid and electric models offering increasingly greater autonomy. The fully electric car has become a popular alternative for those looking for an eco-friendly car, and green vehicles are increasingly on our roads. Advances in charging and battery technology are making the all-electric car more accessible than ever. Today, the purchase of electric or hybrid vehicles is considered a responsible choice in terms of sustainable mobility, helping to reduce the carbon footprint and preserve our environment for future generations. and green vehicles are increasingly numerous on our roads. Advances in charging and battery technology are making the all-electric car more accessible than ever. Today, the purchase of electric or hybrid vehicles is considered a responsible choice in terms of sustainable mobility, helping to reduce the carbon footprint and preserve our environment for future generations.
