Fiat presents its version of the Citroën Ami: designed for those who found the Fiat 500 too big and who prefer ropes to doors

Following the triumph of the "all-terrain" version of the Ami Buggy model , which is characterized only by its design and is clad in a German appearance signed Opel , here is now the Italian version of the Citroën Ami: the Fiat Topolino .

The Stellantis brand wanted to refer to the era of this 1940s classic and capitalize on the enthusiasm generated by what they describe as an electric "mobility object".

The Topolino, inspired by the DNA of the Fiat 500 , presents itself with soft lines and pastel colors. It sports a pastel hue, a canvas roof that makes it convertible, and a rope for the door.

Equipped with a fully electric motorization and presumably offering a range of up to 75 km , similar to that of its counterparts equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 5.5 kWh , the Topolino targets a young audience who prefers to avoid car ownership due to job instability and increasingly restrictive legislation for private vehicles in major cities.

It is possible to drive the vehicle from the age of 15 by obtaining an AM license , which is its main advantage. In addition, it targets a market dominated by diesel, that of light quadricycles.

Regarding the price, although we still do not have precise information on this subject, it is expected that the Citroën Ami will arrive in April 2024. The base price of the standard Citroën Ami , without taking into account the options of Pop and Tonic equipment, amounts to 7,790 euros .
