Kia Sorento: Restyling for the Seven-Seater Hybrid SUV

The Kia Sorento, a seven-seater hybrid SUV launched in 2020, is already benefiting from a restyling to breathe new life into its fourth generation. This large SUV, designed for the United States, is the only seven-seater in the manufacturer's catalog, pending the future Kia EV9, an electric car. It now goes through the restyling box.

New exterior design

The hybrid SUV retains its hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines. The XXL format grille remains present, but the bow appears wider thanks to the vertical and off-center optics. The rear retains its style overall, although slightly retouched.

Clean interior

Inside, the passenger compartment has changed significantly with a new dashboard. This one, more horizontal and refined, embeds a large digital panel with two screens. The padded cap above the instrumentation block disappears for a more fluid look. We note the appearance of new software on board, which will be deployed on the future Kia EV9, an electric car.

Kia has not yet communicated any mechanical modifications for its hybrid Sorento. But let's bet that it should keep its hybrid and rechargeable hybrid engines. The first promises 230 hp, while the second climbs to 265 hp. It also offers a mixed autonomy of 57 km in the current version.

Ecological bonus and conversion bonus
