A few weeks ago, Rimac announced the start of serial production of the Rimac Nevera. And deliveries have even started. Former Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg is the first customer to take delivery of a production Rimac Nevera, a 1,914hp electric hypercar .
Nico Rosberg, with the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship title, was one of the first to buy a Rimac Nevera. Thus, he receives car number 1. Although, in fairness, car number 001 is not technically the first production Nevera.
That honor goes to car number 000, which Rimac maintains as a show car and showcase of the brand's interior and exterior customization possibilities.
As for Rosberg's car, the former German driver opted for what he calls "full Batmobile specification". That is, black on black. The exterior is painted in a metallic black called Stellar Black which makes the polished Vertex rims shine even more and highlights the gloss black brake calipers.

For Rimac, this is perhaps the "most menacing Nevera setup possible". The interior is finished in black Alcantara, with a subtle "Nico Rosberg" signature on the armrest plate marking the 001/150 car. The first example of the Nevera will be headquartered in the Principality of Monaco, Rosberg's current home, and will become the principality's first all-electric hypercar.

In any case, according to Mate Rimac himself, the car will be used without moderation and will not be in an air-conditioned garage: “We are all looking forward to following Nico's journeys with the Nevera; all of their cars are used and enjoyed, which is exactly what we encourage our owners to do. And if anyone can test the limits of what we've built, it's him."
The Rimac Nevera is named after "a rapid, sudden and powerful Mediterranean storm, which crosses the open sea off Croatia". This is how the Croatian businessman also defined his new model. And it's not for less.

The Rimac Nevera offers more features than the typical enthusiast could take advantage of. The hypercar currently holds the title of fastest production car over 1/4 mile (about 402m) with a spectacular time of 8.6 seconds , so it would beat, for example, the time of the Lucid Air .
It accelerates from 0 to 96 km/h in 1.85 seconds and reaches a top speed of 412 km/h. It can also go from standstill to 161 km/h in 4.3 seconds and to 300 km/h in 9.3 seconds .

The Rimac Nevera has four electric motors capable of developing 1,914 HP and 2,360 Nm of torque. The All-Wheel Torque Vectoring 2 (R-AWTV 2) torque vectoring system developed by Rimac replaces the traditional electronic stability program.
A car that, by the way, is just as fast when loading, if the conditions are right. To recharge its 120 kWh battery, it accepts powers of up to 500 kW. Although that, yes at the moment you can only rely on Ionity terminals up to 350 kW, where Mate Rimac charged the car to 333 kW .
Only 150 examples of the Nevera will be built, sold and serviced by Rimac Automobili's network of 25 dealerships across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
