The Volkswagen ID. Buzz already has prices: an electric van with up to 414 km of autonomy with the Cargo and passenger variant

Unveiled last March  , the  Volkswagen ID. Buzz  can now be booked in Spain. The order ban has been opened and, in addition, we already know the  prices  of this zero emission which aims to resuscitate the legendary Kombi of the German firm in the 21st century.

As soon as it arrives on our market, it is available both in a passenger version, in the  Pro  and  1st  Limited Edition finishes, and for the transport of goods in its  Cargo option  .

Their prices vary between  56,140 euros  for the passenger version and  56,140 euros  for the Cargo, all taxes included, without any associated discount. The first deliveries will be made at the end of this year 2022.

This is the modern and electric Kombi

This  Volkswagen ID. Buzz  signs the  4.71 m long  , 1.98 m wide, 1.93 m high, with a wheelbase of 2.98 m. There is no size difference between passenger and freight variants.

Born on the Volkswagen Group's electric vehicle platform (MEB), both versions also share the same engine: a  150 kW (204 hp) and 350 Nm electric drive  , which sends all the power to the rear axle via an automatic gearbox.

We also find this configuration in other electrics of the group, such as the  Volkswagen ID.3  and  ID.4  or the  Skoda Enyaq . As for the  battery,  it has the largest capacity of the group, which signs  77 kWh net  (82 kWh gross).

It supports loads of up to 170 kW of power, promising to reach 5-80% in 30 minutes in fast chargers.

Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo. The light industrial option for transporting goods has three seats in the front bench, but it can be selected as an option in a variant with two individual seats.

It homologates a  cargo space of 4.0 m³  , which can carry up to  650 kg  of payload. The maximum floor length for loading is 2.20 meters and the maximum width is 1.73 meters.

The range of this version is set at  414 km  , so it is not only ideal for last mile deliveries, but it can also cover long distances.

Volkswagen ID. Hum of passengers. It is integrated into the industrial-based, but zero-emission vans, having five seats.

The rear row  can be  moved forward or backward  by up to  15 cm  , leaving more space for the trunk or the legs of the rear occupants as needed. Thus, it can reach up to  1,121 liters  of capacity or up to 2,205 liters if this second bench seat is folded down.

In your case, it promises a range of  410 km  , with an average consumption of 20.8 kWh.

With lots of technology as standard

There are two finishes with which the Volkswagen ID  is launched on the market.  Passenger  Buzz:  Pro and 1st Edition  , which will be limited in Spain to 150 units.

By default, the ID. Buzz Pro comes with LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, sliding side doors, Air Care Climatronic dual-zone climate control, heated and electrically adjustable mirrors, tinted rear windows or front and rear parking sensors, among others.

Two screens dominate the dashboard: the  5.3-inch digital instrument panel and the 10-inch multimedia screen  . It has a Ready 2 Discover system, with wireless connection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. And we also find USB-C ports or wireless charging for mobile devices as standard.

As for the  assistance systems, it  has automatic emergency braking with predictive control of pedestrians and cyclists, active lane keeping system, lane departure warning, detector traffic signs or even a proactive occupant protection system.

And it also has  Car2X connected technology  , which allows it to connect with other cars or with infrastructure, providing information about possible dangers on the road or traffic jams.

All this is accompanied by a wide range of customization in the form of extras, both for the body colors (including the two-tone versions) and for the cabin. In addition, the multimedia system can be the Discover Pro, with integrated browser and intelligent virtual assistant.

The passenger version of  ID. Buzz  oscillates between  61,480 euros  and  71,425 euros  , corresponding respectively to the Pro and 1st Edition finishes. For its part, the Cargo merchandise sets its price at  56,140 euros  .
