There are no more cheap cars, but you can still find models without modern features under 13,000 euros with an ECO label

There was a time when the A-segment was very popular in our market, but currently there are very few city cars on sale. The Fiat Panda is one of the few cars in this category that remains on sale and it is now equipped with a micro-hybrid engine which allows it to be classified as ECO, at least until it is replaced by an electric version imminent.

Easier impossible

Finding a new car model under 15,000 euros is a difficult task, as most brands have abandoned the A-segment and increased the prices of their cars. If you are looking for a model with an ECO label below this price, the task becomes even more difficult, but doable.

Although the Fiat Panda has been on sale since 2012, it has been updated several times to improve its design and equipment. It is also equipped with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, which benefits from an ECO label thanks to a mild hybridization system .

Although the range has shrunk and the 4x4 version is no longer available, the Fiat Panda is still offered with different trim levels, including the base model. The starting price is normally 14,800 euros , but with a promotion valid until June 4, it is available from 12,229 euros .

This version of the car offers a neat finish and no frills such as steering wheel controls, electrically adjustable mirrors or the central touch screen. That said, for those who prefer maximum simplicity, this version of the Panda is perfectly suited to their needs.

Fiat also offers several additional options to improve the equipment of this small city car, such as the Tech Pack which includes automatic climate control, a multifunction steering wheel, a 7-inch touch screen with Bluetooth, a light sensor and a rain sensor, subject to a supplement of 800 euros .

It is also possible to choose the Panda Cross version , which offers a more rustic design, more equipment and the same engine, from 14,839 euros . Finally, there are special editions, such as the RED and the Garmin , which are on sale from 13,969 euros and 15,709 euros respectively, within the Panda range .
